The annual spring work party to open the pool for the season will take place Saturday May 11 from 8am to 2pm. Lunch (pizza) will be served. Come help us get the pool ready for our May 25 opening and earn your work deposit back.

Assessments for the 2019 season will be $460. The increase is due to the new lease, which increased the rent.
If you would like to take advantage of the early bird discount, the amount of $438 must be paid by March 15th, no later. If the assessment is being mailed, to receive this discount, the postmark date needs to be no later than the above date as well.
Assessments paid after the March 15th date and prior to May 1st will be the $460.
After May 1st, a $25 late fee will be assessed making the total $485. A payment plan is offered, please email me if this is something that you would like to set up.
All dues need to have the 2019 Patron Form and Waiver of Liability included. (Forms can be downloaded on the Memberships page.) Please fill out both sheets clearly and completely with all accurate information. You can mail or drop off your check and completed forms to:

BMPA has some memberships available for sale. If you have been a renter in the past and would like to buy a membership…..NOW is a great time to do so!! If you know of anyone interested in purchasing a membership, please have them contact me directly.
If purchased on or prior to March 15, 2019 $50.00
If purchased March 15-May 1, 2019 $75.00
If purchased after May 1, 2019 $100.00
Remember, that this is just to purchase the membership, and the yearly assessment fee will still apply.
All BMPA members are consider “active” and in good standing if the assessment fees for the current year and previous year(s) have been paid in full. As a member, you are responsible to either pay the assessment, sell your membership (permanent transfer), or rent your membership. Only active memberships may be rented.
Membership Contact and Correspondence
When filling out the BMPA 2019 Patron form, please print CLEARLY. BMPA will continue to mail (via the US Postal Service) a Fall and Spring Newsletter. Outside of this, other correspondence will be done via email. Please list a valid email on your membership form. BMPA also has a website that is FULL of information such as contact information, pool schedules, rules and by-laws, membership forms, etc. If you are a Facebook user, BMPA has a Facebook page. Search for Barranca Mesa Pool and “like” us!

Employment information and forms for the 2019 season have been posted on the Employment page.
The Barranca Mesa Pool Association annual meeting will be held Monday November 5, 2018 at the Jansens’ house at 232 Dos Brazos. One new board member is nominated (Employment), therefore a minimum quorum of 30 members are needed to vote. Please make sure you vote in person or by proxy. The meeting agenda and proxy ballots were included in the October Newsletter mailing.

The 2018 season at Barranca Mesa Pool is over. The pool is closed until Memorial Day weekend 2019. The Fall newsletter will mail in mid-October. The annual meeting will be held in early November.
School is back in session and our hours have changed to reflect this. Download schedule.
Barranca Pool opens for the season Saturday May 26 at noon. The pool will be open for Memorial Day weekend (May 26-28). It will reopen, after school is over, the following Saturday June 2 at noon and remain open daily until Labor Day September 2.
